Getting Started

Signup and seller approval requirements

Click 'Register' at the top of the site and choose your profile. Buyers provide their company details and, optionally, an expected spend. There is no limit on what a buyer can offer. An offer over $10,000 for a lot flags the account as a high roller: you give us your bank and company name, and our team confirms with the bank that it can cover the amount — at most 3 times per account. Sellers provide business identity details, an EIN, a registered address, and a business-license record. Seller approval requires the registered address and license record to be on file, unless an administrator records an audited override.
Ultimate Recycling Inc. is a B2B marketplace. A seller's business-license record and registered address are part of the seller approval requirements and help operations review the commercial account. Payout readiness is handled separately.
A seller signs up with an EIN, a registered business address, and a clear business-license or corporate-registration file in PDF or image format. The application currently records the address and license file for seller approval; it does not require a separate proof-of-address upload.
No. Ultimate Recycling Inc. enforces absolute double-blind anonymity. Buyers and sellers never learn each other's identities, company names, or addresses. We broker the entire transaction, coordinate pickup, and route shipments through our facilities to keep details confidential.
Offers & Listings

Understanding the B2B offer engine

Browse our active listings catalog, select a lot, and enter your offer amount. Your offer must satisfy the minimum required increment above the current offer. If your offer is beaten, you will receive an in-app and email notification. You can make offers as many times as you like until the listing closes.
You will receive a confirmation email. You are not charged automatically — you have 24 hours to complete checkout yourself, by card or an approved offline method. Once payment is confirmed, we schedule the pickup and collect the lot with our own fleet. Seller proceeds are held until the lot has been picked up.
No. Offers on Ultimate Recycling Inc. are legally binding. Retracting offers is not permitted. Once you make an offer, you commit to purchase the material at that price should your offer be accepted. Please make offers carefully.
This is the active time remaining in the listing. When the countdown hits zero, the listing closes and the leading buyer wins. Most listings use a soft close (5 minutes unless the listing page says otherwise): an offer placed inside that final window resets the countdown to the full window, measured from the moment of the offer, so nothing closes behind your back. Extensions stop at 3:00 PM on the closing day.
Absolutely! Click the star on any listing to save it to your Watchlist so you can follow it — no commitment.
Buyer Contracts

Standing auto-offers that work while you're away

A buyer contract is a standing auto-offer. You pick a material, whether it buys per-pound or per-unit lots, and a maximum price, and our system offers on your behalf — up to that ceiling — whenever a matching lot is listed. Think of it as a hands-off way to compete for the material you always want, without watching the catalog around the clock. You can keep one active contract per material. Contracts are a membership benefit: Buyer Pro includes 1 active contract and Champion includes unlimited contracts; free buyer accounts can't create them.
Every contract you create or edit carries four limits. Pricing: per pound or per unit — the contract only offers on lots priced that way, and its maximum is a price per pound or per piece. Minimum lot size: lots smaller than this (in pounds, or pieces for a per-unit contract) are skipped; you can also set an optional maximum lot size. Total limit: the most the contract will buy across all lots — lots it wins count toward it, lots it is still offering on hold their share until they close, and a lot that would take it past the total is skipped. Expiration date: the contract stops offering after this date.
We act immediately. The moment you save the contract, the system places your auto-offer on every live lot that matches your material and fits your limits. You do not have to wait for the next listing — if there is an open listing for that material right now, you are entered into it instantly at the lowest amount needed to compete (never above your max).
Yes. A contract fires on both current and future lots for its material. As soon as a new matching listing goes live — whether it's listed today or next month — your auto-offer is entered automatically. The contract keeps working on every qualifying lot until you pause it, it reaches its total limit, or it expires.
No. Your max is a hidden ceiling, not your offer. The system uses eBay-style proxy offering: it only raises your offer as far as needed to stay in front of competing buyers, and never goes above your maximum. Your ceiling is never shown to other buyers. If everyone else drops out below your max, you win at the lower competing price — not at your ceiling.
No. Lowering your maximum does not retract or claw back any offers the system has already placed on your behalf. The new, lower ceiling only applies to future offers — on the next round of offers or on new lots that come up. Offers are binding once placed, so adjust your contract with that in mind.
On your Contracts page you can pause (deactivate) a contract at any time — that stops it from auto-offering on new lots, though it does not retract offers already placed. Every contract also has an expiration date, after which it stops offering on its own; to keep it running, renew it with a new date. The material on an existing contract can't be changed; to switch materials, deactivate the contract and create a new one.
Payments & Settlement

Security, payment processing, and seller payouts

Payment is buyer-initiated within 24 hours of winning — nothing is charged when the listing closes. Every payment is reviewed before the lot is marked paid; card payments are reviewed promptly, offline payments once we confirm receipt of funds. If the deadline passes without payment, the award is forfeited. Seller proceeds are held until the lot has been picked up, and are then paid out on request.
We accept corporate credit and debit cards, bank wire (and ACH) transfers, Zelle, and Cash App. Card payments are processed through our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor — we never store raw card numbers on our systems. Zelle, wire, and Cash App are settled off-platform and reconciled by our accounts team once the funds arrive.
Contact us as soon as you can. Our driver records weights and photographs at pickup, and any discrepancy is flagged to our staff. Material is sold as-is and settlement is based on the listed quantity, so we review these case by case — we may decline to load, hold the seller's payout, or cancel the transaction. There is no automatic refund or penalty.
Fees & Commissions

What you pay, when you pay it, and how to calculate your net

Nothing. There are no listing fees, no transport fees, and no storage fees. We take a commission only on completed winning offers — if the lot does not sell, you owe nothing.
Free accounts: commission slides from 50% on a $0 lot down to a flat 15% once the lot value reaches $1,000 — so the range is 15–50%. Seller Pro ($300/month): flat 15% at every lot value. Champion ($449/month): flat 10%. All rates are sourced from the same file that governs every settlement — the number on your invoice will always match what is published here.
The buyer premium is a flat charge added to the winning offer at checkout. Free buyer accounts: 2%. Buyer Pro: 1%. Champion: 0%. It appears as a separate line on the checkout invoice so you can see exactly what you are paying.
Net proceeds = (winning offer × listed quantity) − commission. Example: 2,000 lb × $0.90/lb = $1,800 lot value. That is past the $1,000 point where the Free curve bottoms out, so Free pays 15%: $1,800 − $270 = $1,530 net. Seller Pro (15%): $1,530 net. Champion (10%): $1,800 − $180 = $1,620 net. The /how-it-works page has a full worked example with a timeline.
Seller proceeds are released after the lot is picked up from the seller's location. From there, the seller requests a payout through their account. There is no automatic transfer and no fixed SLA — payout is on the seller's schedule once the lot is collected.
Settlement = winning offer × listed quantity. The listed quantity is set by the seller at submission and is what the buyer paid for. Our driver records weights and photographs at pickup — these are the operational audit trail. If the actual weight differs significantly from the listed quantity, the discrepancy is flagged to our staff and resolved case by case. Driver weights do not automatically reprice the lot.
Logistics & Delivery

Pickup scheduling, scale tickets, and collection

Ultimate Recycling Inc. does, using our own fleet. We schedule the pickup from the seller, dispatch the driver, and handle the shipping paperwork — sellers never arrange transport. Once the lot is at our facility, the buyer chooses: collect it with their own or a hired carrier, or request a delivery quote from us.
We collect the lot from the seller and bring it to our facility, and the buyer collects it from there. You can collect it yourself free of charge — with your own truck or a hired carrier — or request a delivery: we aim to quote the freight within 24 hours, and once you accept and pay the quote we haul it with our own driver or a third-party carrier. Lots held at more than one of our facilities are consolidated first, which adds about two business days. Pickup from the seller is scheduled at listing time, no sooner than two business days out, and you will receive tracking updates.
Your listing total is the winning offer × listed quantity plus the buyer premium. Collecting from our facility is free. If you ask us to deliver, we quote the freight separately and you pay it only if you accept the quote.
